I doubt you would have a problem with 75-140. Ford makes a 75-140 synthetic that is the specified lube for the rear diff in my Expedition. I was thinking about putting that in the VTX- it's more of a heavy duty oil- Plus- any synthetic will flow at very low temps- even in Alaska. Oil pressure is not going to cause it to die. If tie idle is set to low then you will not get enough pressure to shut the light off. VTX's Do require a higher idle than a HD.
