Browning a5 magnum serial numbers

I need some serial number help too. I recently inherited my Grandfather's Browning Auto-5 Magnum. The serial number on the bottom of the receiver just forward of the loading port reads OV 302XX. This does not match anything I can find on the Browning gun history chart. Any help in determining the date of manufacture would be greatly appreciated.
