The grave scythe is just a powerhouse in general so you can do basically anything with it. I use a keen one with my dex faith build and an occult one as a backup weapon for my arcane character. Depending on if you want the faith incantations or maybe an int scaled cold affinity, the grave scythe won't be a bad choice.
