The Waterton Canyon trail is not so much of a "hike" as it is a trek, in that it's fairly flat but goes on for a gazillion miles. I was trekking with 10 long-distance through-walking companions on a 40-degree sunny Colorado afternoon, snow on the trail, but what an experience!
