Honda shadow 1100 mpg

I have a 1993 Shadow VT1100C. I average between 50 and 52 mpg. This sure beats the 16mpg I get for my Ford F150. Depending on traffic, I normally try to stay around 65mph for the bulk of the highway driving. This is a mixed commute with about 80% highway and the rest of it being more like city driving.

After riding both for a while now it is surprising how agile the Magna can be. You know when you pick up a bunch of boxes that weigh 50lbs then that last one only weighs 5. Ride the VTX for a couple hours in the hills then hop on the Magna. You have to watch yourself.
