It’s a little slow though but at least it works. 4kids hasn't been in control of one piece dub since 2007 that's 16 years ago. Funimation redid all of the dub from 4kids from 2007 when they took the dubbing rights., No reruns of the 4Kids dub were aired after 2008 as Funimation Entertainment acquired the rights for One Piece and re-dubbed all of the episodes to fit the show’s more mature theme. On February 10th, 2016, an anonymously sourced torrent was uploaded to the anime torrent site Nyaa.se, featuring every episode of the One Piece 4Kids dub., The 4Kids dub introduced me to One Piece so it will always have a special little place in my heart. I probably would not be a fan if it wasn't for 4kids. I think they made a good choice going with the Pirate Rap, because it actually explained the basic premise of the show, which none of the Japanese openings do at all.
