Up for auction is this Lefever nitro-special double-barrel shotgun in the .12-gauge. 28-inch barrel, with the 2-3/4-inch chambers. Not sure of the choke, both barrels are marked number-4, on the water table. Bores are excellent, bright and shiny. Metal finish is pretty much gone on the barrel, with overall areas of oxidation, but no pitting.Lefever sideplate serial numbers start at 5000 and end somewhere in the mid 74XXX range. Anything over 100,000 is a Nitro Special made by Ithaca and is a completely different gun . The best place to find the serial number will be on the water table.Add to Cart.
