Mar 2, 2024 · RMNP Trail Conditions Report as of March 2, 2024. The trail was a mix of dirt, packed snow and small sections of solid ice until reaching the top of the moraine. The trail around the lake was snow-packed. Traction devices are highly recommended. Trail was snow-packed the entire way.
