Buck Taylor is an American actor, painter, and rancher. He is mainly known for his character, Newly O'Brien, from the 1967 American drama TV series Gunsmoke. In the show, he plays a gunsmith of Dodge City, who later becomes a deputy marshal. Moreover, he received a Trustee Award from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum for this role.
