Lydgate Farms is in an ahupua’a (land division) named Olohena, known for its rolling hills and the numerous springs and rivers that make this valley fertile for growing. In addition to our specialty crops, you’ll find a wide variety of botanicals and fruits around our farm. Visit us in Wailua for an interactive farm tour and chocolate tasting.

Lydgate Farms is run by Will Lydgate, of the fifth generation Kaua'i family. The first cacao orchards were planted by his father in 2002 and 2009. In 2014 Will leased more land to expand the plantings, including exciting new varieties of chocolate that had never been planted on Kauai. In 2016 Will took over the business full time …Chocolate is best stored in a cool dry place.
