Mak90 stock adapter

952 posts · Joined 2004. #1 · Jun 15, 2004. Turns out my MAC 90 is a bastard rifle. It has a Chinese underfolder reciever with a tang welded to it. That means, from what I understand, that I can't change it into a folder after the bann dies, because it was never finished as a folder, and no regular AK stock will fit it.

Here's a conversion, the new mak90 flats are .050", just right for Russian front trunnions (with minor milling). The problem is, the mak90 flats are 3/8" longer, which creates a dust cover fit issue. Since Norinco front trunnions are unavailable, the flat is a better option over the 1mm.Norinco orange and Polytech Blond stock sets are available online if you look around a bit.
