Are they considered a reliable rifle?Honestly, they quit making them back when Bill Clinton's Gun Ban went into effect and Marlin discontinued the 70...then reworked it so the old high-capacity magazines could not be used in the new 795. The Numrich stocks are NOS (New, Old Stock) and were considerably higher in price until recently.I hear the 795 may be discontinued due to Marlin getting purchased by Ruger.
