Maxxforce 7 problems

Hello forum members I'm looking at a small motor home which uses the Maxxforce 7 diesel engine. 215 hp 560 ft lbs (small) I need some help with regard to the dependability of the engine and what applications is it currently being used. Also is there a performance chip to increase the power. Any links or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We have one 2010 with Maxxforce 7 and one 2008 with VT365, both are under 10,000 miles and both have been problem free so far.
