Grab Jyuratodus LBG (in 5*) or go all in on Nargacuga (6*). Jyura is probably easier to make since you don't have to grind out narga marrow/medulla, assuming you're cool with RF Spread 2 (honestly pretty fun now that the recoil on it isn't stupid). If you're dying for a workable LBG right now the Mizutsune LBG ..., Normal 2 rapid fire is pretty bad. Really if you want an easy to use LBG you can use for nearly anything, go with Rapid Fire Pierce. The barroth bowgun can be built really early and can carry you till you can build the Nargacuga LBG which you can use all the way up to endgame Master Rank upgrading it as you go.
