It’s 1in longer than my 11.5 ar with stock fully extended. It’s easy to swing around the house. I’ve shot at clays a few times with my sbs. It’s definitely at a huge disadvantage past 20 yards. It’s cool at 14 but for sex factor I want a 10in kit, That "intended to be fired from the shoulder" will be crucial. So if Mossberg manufactures a Model 500 with stock and a barrel shorter than 18", that's an SBS because it's intended to be fired from the shoulder.
